Trip to Maverick's with Baby Monty and Mimi

During the HK Holiday, we headed out to Lantau Island to check out Mavericks beach bar.  Mom was with us but I don't have any pics with her! Ah! Typically what happens to whoever is taking all the pictures. Since it was during a public holiday, there were no taxis anywhere when we got to the island. We took the buses and arrived without any issues.

Mom and I took a walk on the beach before heading back and spotted this snake. We thought it was dead until he flared his head out. Turns out Hong Kong has cobras! Yikes! All we could figure is that a bird must have dropped him from its mouth. Not sure why else he would be so close to the water. And yes, we were standing all 2 feet away from this guy. Eek!
