Monty's Trip to the Baby Spa

Monty made his first spa outing at 3 months old. This place opened near my apartment so I just had to check it out. The advertisements just looked to hilarious not to try. The swimming with the floatation ring is a concept popular in Japan. It has made its way to Singapore and now places are popping up all over in Hong Kong. I could see how some babies may not like it. Monty loves bath time so I was hoping that was a good indicator and it was. He loved it! He swam the entire 30 minutes (most babies get tired before the allotted time).

The 45 minute session starts off with a 15 minute baby massage followed by 30 minutes of swimming.

Then it is swim time. They swim with these flotation devices around their neck. These Swimava brand (from Japan) floaties are available for purchase at the spa.

Monty gets ready to go in the big pool which can fit 7 babies. We were the only ones there at 4:00 on a Friday. Individual pools can also be booked. However, I think it would be most fun in the big pool.

After only a few minutes in the pool, he had figured out how to kick off the side. I was impressed!

After their swim, they get a bath too!

Tuckered out after all that swimming!

Looking to take your baby? There are 3 Branches to choose from. Babies can start as early as 3 weeks (although I would wait until he has good head control). I went to the one in Central when he was 3 months old.
