London 2013 Part 2

We decided to take our chances at the Wimbledon Que. We got up early, but in the end, we were told we were too far back in line to get in. :( All the big guys were playing the first day, most notably Murray. It sounds like if we had gone back on Tuesday morning, our chances would have been significantly better. These guys should take a few pointers from the US Open and sell tickets. The whole thing was kind of ridiculous. It was also the coldest day we had in London. I had on about 6 thin layers.

People everywhere!

These helmet umbrellas would make a statement in Hong Kong. Note: I asked if they shipped to HK, the answer was no. They are worried about the Chinese copying their design. Ha! I don't blame them!

Aww yeah!

We headed back into the city to attempt to watch tennis at a pub.

Tennis spirit!
Stopped by this awesome Gun & Rifle company. Seriously cool store!

Tennis watching and lunch at the Audley

After lunch, Katie and Chris headed out to catch their train to Paris. Matt and I did some more strolling around the city.

We found this pub for watching tennis. Great little spot.

Dogs of the bar

The owners (clearly regulars) told the chocolate lab Jake to take the other dog for a walk

After a little back and forth, mission accomplished.

We went to this bar for a drink earlier in the week, but forgot to photograph. Dean Street Townhouse. Quite a cool vibe.

We headed to meet up with my Boho Betty co-worker at the Three Greyhounds. I think Matt stole 2 beer glasses from this place. The collection continues to grow...

With Jamie!

Our last day in London. More exploring! I wanted to do one touristy thing before we left. Westminster Abbey was on the list. We walked by this Hong Kong Restaurant, complete with the HK MTR Map on the way to the Tube.

Happened to walk by the changing of the guards

I wish we had cabs this big in HK

Westminster Abbey

No photography allowed inside. I highly recommend you make a trip to check it out if you are in London. The architecture is magnificent. Get the audio guide. Bonus, tour is narrated by the Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons.

Wasn't sure if photos were allowed here, but I took my chances (didn't use a flash) and didn't get yelled at.

We made our way back to the hotel. Time to fly back to HK.

Cool mens shaving shop on the walk

One more touristy shot, for old time sake.
